James Kennedy — Selected packaging work
Summary
Challenge. Teazy was moving beyond its original THC iced tea line into functional iced tea. The new product needed a clear proposition in a much wider tea category, while retaining the Southern character of the brand.
Solution. We worked with the founding team on the new form, formula direction and positioning, then carried the proposition into identity, packaging, copy and retail collateral. Social Iced Tea put the social invitation first; the ingredient story supported it.
Studio JKI — strategy and design, led by James Kennedy. Product development was collaborative; technical formulation was not solely the studio’s contribution.

Challenge. Alohi’s creative brief described a woman choosing among wine, cocktails and alcoholic seltzers who wanted to stay present in the occasion. The task was to express that intended social experience through the brand and package.
Solution. We explored creative directions around color, flavor, light and social settings, then carried the work into can artwork and campaign imagery. A framed wordmark, floral field and clear flavor band gave the proposition a visible structure.
Studio JKI — strategy and design, led by James Kennedy. The brief describes the intended experience, not a measured consumer outcome.

Challenge. Hyde’s Hail Mary presents a sparkling hemp beverage through the familiar language of shandy. The packaging task was to give four flavors a shared identity across cans and boxes.
Solution. We developed the identity and packaging system, using the diagonal name, crest and cream-and-gold structure to hold the family together. Flavor names and color distinguish Lemon, Apple, Ginger and Orange without rebuilding the design for each SKU.
Studio JKI — strategy and design, led by James Kennedy. This case focuses on the documented identity and packaging work.

Summary
Challenge. The package needs to introduce terpene-infused sparkling water while helping someone choose among three flavors. Our engagement focused on packaging revisions and strategy support within an existing brand.
Solution. We supported a packaging system that places flavor cues alongside a concise terpene explanation. Color distinguishes Blue Dream, Maui Wowi and Super Silver Haze, while repeated lettering and layout connect the range.
